The company is currently hiring a Data Scientist to join its Data Science team and contribute to high-impact initiatives that shape product growth, revenue optimization, and user experience improvements.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with product, engineering, design, marketing, and leadership teams to analyze complex datasets, understand user behavior, and drive data-informed decision-making. You will play a key role in developing experimentation frameworks, building predictive models, and delivering insights that support business strategy and product innovation across Dropbox’s ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop deep understanding of customer journey, lifecycle stages, and key performance metrics
• Perform advanced data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and business challenges
• Design and execute A/B testing and experimentation frameworks to improve product performance
• Build segmentation models and propensity models to enhance targeting and personalization strategies
• Create dashboards and automated reporting systems for monitoring business and product metrics
• Analyze large-scale, multi-dimensional datasets to extract actionable business insights
• Monitor experiment results and recommend improvements based on statistical analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Design
• Translate complex analytical findings into clear business recommendations
• Continuously explore new analytical methods and tools to improve data-driven decision-making
Requirements:
• 3–5 years of experience in data science, analytics, business intelligence, or related fields
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with large and complex datasets
• Solid understanding of statistical analysis, experimentation design, and modeling techniques
• Experience with regression analysis, decision trees, and A/B testing methodologies
• Familiarity with Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling
• Experience with SaaS or product analytics environments is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills with ability to present insights to stakeholders and executives
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple analytical projects
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (Master’s preferred)
• Strong problem-solving mindset with focus on business impact
Compensation:
• US Zone 2: $149,200 – $201,800 USD
• US Zone 3: $132,600 – $179,400 USD
