About your role:
As a Data Ranger Associate you will support the Native Data function within Investment Implementation. You’ll help manage the lifecycle of investment data, engage with internal and external stakeholders, and assist in vendor, relationship, and service management activities. • Communicate the current state of portfolio data slices and specific assets to stakeholders.
• Help build, maintain, and rapidly organize inbound data assets and run-state items.
• Contribute to initiatives that boost data quality, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and document methods and best practices used across the investment community.
• Support colleague management tracking and vendor administration practices, including vendor engagement and sourcing tasks.
• Liaise frequently with investors, engineers, legal/compliance, finance, and external providers to align expectations and resolve issues.

Who will thrive in this role:
• Curious, practical, and analytical individuals who enjoy working broadly across teams.
• Candidates passionate about investment data lifecycle management and systems thinking.
• People who take strong personal ownership, hold themselves to high standards, and can integrate many moving parts into a cohesive practice.
• Those comfortable communicating complex topics to diverse audiences and driving follow-through.

Training & growth:
• A structured training program with on-the-job apprenticeship and external engagement.
• Opportunities to contribute to practice design and to represent the firm in vendor and service management discussions over time.
• Career mobility across Bridgewater, guided by performance and demonstrated strengths.

Minimum qualifications:
• 4-year degree from an accredited undergraduate institution.
• 1–5 years of relevant experience at an investment bank, asset manager, or vendor/service provider.
• Experience in Relationship Management, Service Management, or Vendor Management Administration.
• Familiarity with capital markets “market data” (instrument types, pricing sources, liquidity concepts, curve structures) is a strong plus.

Physical & work requirements:
• This position is offered fully remote within the United States.
• The role may require coordination across time zones and frequent virtual stakeholder engagement.

Compensation band & note:
• Total compensation range: $105,000 – $175,000 (inclusive of base salary and discretionary target bonus).
• Expected base salary is commonly between ~70–90% of the total range and will be set based on location and experience. Final offers may include additional incentives and are individualized.
