Description:
NinjaOne is currently looking for a detail-focused and technically skilled Data Integration Engineer to join its growing engineering team. This role is centered around data structuring, automation, and technical content development, with a strong emphasis on MIB (Management Information Base) to OID (Object Identifier) mapping, compliance alignment, and process automation.
The selected candidate will work closely with engineering and IT operations teams to ensure accurate data mapping, maintain compliance standards, and improve automation workflows that enhance system efficiency, scalability, and accuracy.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with structured technical data, automation scripting, and IT infrastructure environments while contributing to the improvement of enterprise-grade IT operations platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research, develop, and maintain accurate OID mappings aligned with internal data models
• Ensure proper alignment of mapping structures with security frameworks and compliance standards
• Validate mapping accuracy and ensure traceability across systems and processes
• Collaborate with engineering teams to test and implement mappings on virtual systems and devices
• Review compliance controls to ensure full coverage, effectiveness, and industry alignment
• Design and implement automation solutions to improve mapping and validation workflows
• Develop scripting and technical enhancements to support IT operations tools
• Conduct research on emerging IT standards and security best practices
• Identify gaps in current systems and continuously improve content quality and structure
• Support documentation, analysis, and optimization of technical processes
Candidate Requirements:
• 1–2 years of experience in MSP or enterprise IT environments (Windows/Linux systems)
• Hands-on experience in PowerShell scripting for automation and troubleshooting
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, endpoints, and networking
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including patching and vulnerability management
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
• Ability to document technical processes clearly and accurately
• Passion for automation, learning, and process improvement
