Description:
Experis is seeking a meticulous and organized Inventory Data Specialist to support inventory management and reporting operations. This remote position is a 3-month contract initially, ideal for candidates experienced in data entry and supply chain reporting. The role involves maintaining accurate inventory records, assisting with product movement, and ensuring seamless reporting across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process inventory transfers between storage locations using Smartsheet or similar systems
- Track and follow up on transactions to ensure completion
- Prepare and distribute inventory aging and daily processing reports
- Update product status based on QA clearance and coordinate repurposing opportunities with scheduling teams
- Maintain data accuracy within NetSuite and related systems
- Research and resolve discrepancies in work orders, costing, and product closures
- Assist in inventory reconciliation, missing inventory investigations, and reporting
- Support warehouse and supply chain teams in timely and accurate product transfers and documentation
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of professional data entry or inventory reporting experience
- Intermediate Excel skills including Pivot Tables, lookups, and data formatting
- Strong computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Experience in supply chain, logistics, or food manufacturing preferred but not required
- NetSuite experience is a plus
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and collaboratively
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday through Friday (8am–4pm or 9am–5pm EST)
- 100% Remote
