Description:
Goldbelt Glacier Health Services is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Data Entry Specialist Research Analyst to support a Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) contract focused on records management and digitization. This position is contingent upon the successful award of a government contract currently under bid.
The role involves supporting critical administrative and research functions related to application processing, data validation, and genealogical record review. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring accuracy, compliance, and integrity in managing sensitive applicant information.
Remote work may be available depending on security requirements, workload distribution, and operational needs. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful federal healthcare and administrative programs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process front-line intake and application submissions
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate records in enrollment databases
• Receive, log, and track incoming CDIB applications and supporting documents
• Review applications for completeness and accuracy based on BIA standards
• Conduct genealogical research and verify supporting documentation when required
• Identify and prevent fraudulent submissions through validation checks
• Maintain both physical and electronic filing systems
• Prepare applicant correspondence including updates, deficiency notices, and determinations
• Support verification of family lineage and eligibility assessments
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required (Associate degree preferred)
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in data entry or administrative support
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with tribal and federal representatives
