We’re Hiring — Data Entry Specialist (Remote)

Syneos Health, in collaboration with Illingworth Research Group, is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to support clinical research operations. Illingworth provides patient-focused services for the pharmaceutical, healthcare, biotechnology, and medical device industries, including mobile research nursing, patient concierge, medical photography, and clinical research support. The organization operates globally in over 45 countries, bringing clinical trials directly into patients’ homes and enhancing the patient experience.

Job Responsibilities
• Perform accurate and timely data entry, tracking, verification, and quality control checks of the PreRISK database according to the Data Entry Instruction Manual, team communications, and organizational best practices.
• Make accurate corrections to the database as requested by the Data Curation Work Group Lead.
• Identify technical system or data issues during entry and route appropriately.
• Handle sensitive information confidentially.
• Assist with routine data surveillance and system improvements for the PreRISK library.
• Participate in developing strategies to improve PreRISK system efficiency, focusing on design, metrics, process support, and reporting.
• Maintain and update the Data Entry Instruction Manual.
• Assist with other data system needs, team projects, and initiatives as assigned.
• Support preparation and maintenance of end-user training materials and job aids.

Qualifications and Skills
• Proficiency in data entry and quality control practices.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with software systems used for clinical data entry is advantageous.
• Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.
