MVP Health Care is seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team and support our mission of creating healthier communities. Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately perform data entry of claim forms from both electronic images and paper documents into internal systems.
  • Manage and update provider demographic information, including provider-initiated changes.
  • Add new providers and maintain current provider records using systems like Facets and Macess.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory claim payment timeframes.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve data discrepancies and maintain provider data accuracy.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
  • Meet or exceed departmental standards for both productivity and quality.
  • Adapt to changing business needs, including occasional overtime.
  • Contribute to overall organizational excellence by performing other related duties as needed.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • High accuracy and attention to detail, capable of 5,000–7,000 keystrokes per hour.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and claims processing.
  • Curiosity and drive to foster innovation and support team growth.
  • Commitment to providing excellent service to customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work full-time virtually from Schenectady, NY or Rochester, NY.
