The Role
We are seeking a dependable Data Entry professional to support customer operations and back-office functions. This role blends customer-facing communications with administrative and basic accounting tasks, helping ensure orders, records, and financial transactions are processed accurately and on time.
You Will Be Responsible For
- Handling inbound customer calls and emails professionally and resolving routine inquiries.
- Coordinating with internal teams to ensure orders are processed and delivered correctly.
- Escalating customer feedback or issues to the appropriate teams for follow-up.
- Performing data entry tasks and maintaining up-to-date records in company systems.
- Assisting with filing, scanning, and general administrative duties.
- Documenting financial transactions, managing accounts receivable/payable entries, posting transactions in the accounting system, and preparing bank deposits.
- Providing ad-hoc administrative support to the team as required.
Ideal Profile
- At least 1 year of experience in customer service, data entry, or a related administrative role—experience in internet or professional services is a plus.
- Prior exposure to basic accounting or bookkeeping tasks is desirable.
- Comfortable with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Well organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player who can work with multiple stakeholders and enjoys finding practical solutions.
