Position Summary
The Data Entry Lead plays a central role in maintaining accurate, timely information flow across pharmacy operations. This hands-on lead mentors the data entry team, monitors performance against KPIs, drives process accuracy, and partners with quality and operations teams to improve data workflows.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor and review the Data Entry team’s output to ensure accuracy and on-time delivery.
- Apply data management best practices to keep information flow efficient and error-free.
- Mentor new hires, identify training gaps, and work with quality control to close those gaps.
- Set and communicate performance expectations and support team members to meet KPIs.
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to align team activities with operational goals and enforce company policies.
- Assist in process improvements to optimize throughput and reduce rework.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
- Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and data entry; significant periods spent seated and working at a computer.
- Regular communication (talking and hearing) with team members and stakeholders.
- Periodic movement around the office/campus and occasional standing, walking, reaching, bending or stooping as required by the role.
Knowledge And Skills
- Fast, accurate typing and comfort with common data-entry programs and systems.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to meet KPIs in a high-volume environment.
- Leadership and coaching experience — ideally supporting and motivating large teams.
- High attention to detail, integrity in handling confidential information, and solid written/verbal communication.

Experience and Qualifications
- Preferred: 3 years’ experience in a data entry technician role or similar.
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
