Description

We are in the process of recruiting a Data Entry Clerk/Automation Specialist to be part of our team in the legal industry based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As a Data Entry Clerk, your key role will be to process and handle data related to customer applications, maintain customer records, and address customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary actions.

Responsibilities

  • Handle data entry tasks related to customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
  • Collaborate with the IT team to automate certain processes
  • Regularly update and maintain customer credit records
  • Act as a point of contact for customer inquiries and resolve them promptly
  • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required
  • Develop and configure Excel spreadsheets for data analysis and reporting
  • Handle document review processes manually before automating them
  • Work with software settings to align them with operational needs
  • Contribute to operational objectives and initiatives within the team
  • Assist in paralegal work as needed, focusing on automation of processes.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data entry or similar role within the Legal industry
  • Familiarity with IP/Docketing preferred.
  • Technical aptitude and interest in automation.
  • Proficient understanding of Operational Activities, including data processing and management tasks
  • Familiarity with the Operational Environment in a legal setting, and ability to adapt to varying operational initiatives
  • Strong ability to align work with Operational Objectives, ensuring consistency and efficiency in task completion
  • Track record of contributing to Operational Performance improvements, suggesting and implementing process enhancements
  • Knowledge of Operational Procedure within the legal industry, with a focus on compliance and risk mitigation
  • Ability to manage a variety of Operational Tasks, demonstrating flexibility and prioritization skills
  • Experience working with ParaLegals, understanding their needs and requirements for effective data management
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to handle sensitive data responsibly
  • Proficient in using legal software and other relevant data entry tools
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
