Description:

micro1 is currently hiring remote Data Entry Clerks / Data Collectors to support advanced machine learning and activity recognition projects. This opportunity is ideal for detail-oriented individuals who are comfortable using smartphones, following technical instructions, and contributing to innovative AI-driven technology initiatives.

The role involves collecting synchronized IMU sensor and video data using compatible smartphones while performing assigned physical movement tasks. Selected candidates will contribute directly to the development of next-generation activity recognition and robotics systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture accurate motion and sensor data using smartphone IMU systems during assigned physical activities

• Record synchronized video footage to support validation and quality control of collected data

• Follow detailed technical guidelines and standardized collection procedures

• Ensure all submitted recordings meet project quality, labeling, and consistency standards

• Contribute a minimum of 10 hours of approved video data per week throughout the project period

• Communicate effectively with project teams regarding instructions, feedback, and workflow updates

• Deliver data submissions on time according to project schedules and milestones

• Participate in device compatibility checks and AI-enabled interview procedures

Requirements:

• Access to a compatible smartphone device including iPhone 11 or newer, Google Pixel 6 or newer, or Samsung Galaxy S21 or newer

• Ability to obtain and use a head strap setup within 48 hours of project start date

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict technical instructions

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote, data-focused environment

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• High level of digital literacy and familiarity with mobile technology

• Physical ability to safely perform repetitive movement-based tasks

• Must be eligible to work in designated U.S. states including Alabama, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Hampshire, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, and Wisconsin

Compensation Structure:

• Compensation is performance and output-based

• Payments are made per approved video submission that meets project requirements

• Weekly minimum submission requirements apply, including 10–15 hours of approved video content

• Selected candidates are expected to begin onboarding and task execution quickly after approval

• Most roles are filled within approximately 48 hours

• Tasks must be completed directly from a mobile device or tablet
