Description:
Viasat’s Global Trade Compliance (GTC) team is hiring a short-term Data Entry Administrator to support import/export authorization processing. You’ll play a hands-on role entering and validating trade authorizations in our Global Trade Management system, running reports, and helping keep compliance records accurate and auditable. This 6-month assignment suits someone detail-focused who works well independently and can thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
Primary responsibilities:
- Enter import/export authorizations and related records into the Global Trade Management system accurately and efficiently.
- Validate and verify data, flagging and correcting inconsistencies as needed.
- Run reports and help maintain clean, auditable records for compliance purposes.
- Work independently to manage daily data-entry workflows and meet deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders when clarification or follow-up is required.
Core skills & requirements:
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using Jira or similar issue-tracking tools.
- Quick learner with the ability to adopt new software systems with guided instruction.
- Able to prioritize multiple tasks and remain productive under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
- Comfortable working both autonomously and as part of a diverse, cross-functional team.
