We are seeking an energetic Data Coordinator to join our data management team and contribute to direct response fundraising initiatives. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, writing, and executing data instructions for mailing files for both local and national nonprofit clients. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting both internal teams and external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage mail file creation schedules in alignment with production deadlines.
- Communicate deadlines and due dates clearly and promptly.
- Collaborate with client teams to translate strategic directions into precise data instructions.
- Clearly define mail file criteria in client data requests.
- Serve as a liaison with data vendors during file processing, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed.
- Monitor file deliverables, ensuring on-time creation and delivery of all outputs.
- Oversee all file-related outputs including final mail files, NCOA updates, and finder files.
- Demonstrate eagerness to learn and actively participate as a team player.
- Collaborate with various internal departments, vendors, and clients to complete projects efficiently.
- Provide additional support for team and client data needs as necessary.
Requirements/Skills:
- 2–5 years of experience in fundraising, data processing, or a related field.
- Experience in nonprofit fundraising and/or agency environment preferred, with interest in direct marketing.
- Strong attention to detail, project management, and organizational skills to manage competing deadlines.
- Ability to deliver high-quality results quickly and efficiently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to build relationships and coordinate with internal teams and vendors.
- Positive attitude and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
