Description:
Oracle is currently hiring a Data Center Technician to provide first-line, on-site field system support across customer locations in the United States. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality technical support covering hardware, software, applications, and networking environments, either directly at customer sites or through remote assistance. The position plays a critical role in maintaining customer satisfaction through effective service delivery and technical problem resolution.
The Data Center Technician will proactively coordinate resources, manage escalations, and apply system-level diagnostics to identify and resolve a wide range of technical issues. This role requires a strong understanding of service processes, customer specifications, and operational support models. The position includes participation in a regional standby rotation to meet 24-hour customer support requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, applications, and networking systems
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through reliable service delivery and issue resolution
- Support product performance monitoring, maintenance, installations, and site planning activities
- Coordinate troubleshooting efforts, problem resolution, and escalation processes
- Utilize system-level diagnostics to identify and resolve technical issues efficiently
- Work closely with internal teams and field personnel to meet customer support requirements
- Operate independently while adhering to defined policies, procedures, and service standards
- Participate in regional standby rotation to support 24/7 customer specifications
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant technical or field support experience
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) preferred
- Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technical issues
- Understanding of customer service processes and enterprise support environments
- Willingness to work primarily at customer sites
- Ability to support live operational requirements, including standby rotations
