A leading automotive organization in Dubai is seeking a skilled Data Application Manager to lead its data applications and analytics initiatives. This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy building scalable data platforms, managing technical teams, and turning complex data into actionable business insights.
The Data Application Manager will work closely with engineering, data science, and business teams to design, implement, and optimize data applications aligned with automotive business requirements. The role involves overseeing Azure-based data platforms, pipelines, and integrations, as well as supporting analytics, dashboards, and AI/ML initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and managing data applications to meet automotive business needs
- Managing Azure data architecture, ETL pipelines, and platform performance
- Translating business requirements into secure, reliable, and efficient data solutions
- Supporting analytics, dashboards, and AI/ML use cases
- Leading and mentoring data engineers, BI developers, and analysts
- Ensuring data governance, security, access control, and data quality standards
- Driving continuous improvement, scalability, and cost efficiency across data operations
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Azure data ecosystem, including ADF, Databricks, and analytics tools, and a strong background in data engineering and analytics. Automotive industry exposure is highly desirable. Familiarity with SAP data sources (S/4, BW, BO) and proven leadership and stakeholder management skills are required.
