Description:
CSP Abu Dhabi CFS is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Customs Clearance Agent to join its operations team in Abu Dhabi. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in customs procedures, freight forwarding, and logistics coordination within the UAE market.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing end-to-end customs clearance activities, ensuring smooth cargo movement, and maintaining full compliance with UAE customs laws and international shipping standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage import and export operations to ensure timely and efficient cargo movement
• Handle customs clearance procedures, including preparation and submission of all required documentation
• Oversee project cargo operations, including planning, coordination, and execution
• Manage clearance of RORO and general cargo shipments
• Supervise break bulk cargo export processes, ensuring proper handling and compliance
• Ensure full compliance with UAE Customs regulations and logistics industry standards
• Review and verify shipping documents including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, HS code approvals, and certificates of origin
• Calculate duties, taxes, and other applicable charges for timely clearance processing
• Ensure proper adherence to import regulations for air and sea shipments and maintain daily operational records
• Monitor shipment progress and proactively resolve delays or clearance issues
• Handle cross-border land clearance operations efficiently
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth workflow and operations
• Arabic language skills will be considered an added advantage
Requirements:
• Prior experience in customs clearance or freight forwarding is required (UAE experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of UAE customs laws and free zone procedures
• Excellent documentation, communication, and coordination skills
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment
