Description:
BeyondTrust is seeking a Customer Trust Specialist to serve as a security authority in customer-facing engagements, supporting new business opportunities, renewals, and long-term customer success initiatives. This strategic role operates at the intersection of cybersecurity expertise, customer trust, and sales enablement, helping enterprise customers understand BeyondTrust’s security capabilities and overall security posture.
The successful candidate will work closely with enterprise customers, including CISO-level stakeholders, to address complex security requirements, manage security questionnaires and RFP responses, and provide guidance on cloud security, identity security, and Privileged Access Management (PAM). This position plays a key role in reducing security-related sales barriers, strengthening customer relationships, and positioning BeyondTrust as a trusted cybersecurity partner.
The Customer Trust Specialist will collaborate across Sales, Customer Success, Security, Engineering, Product, and Legal teams while supporting Trust & Assurance initiatives, security communications, and continuous improvement of customer-facing security resources.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as the primary security expert during enterprise customer engagements, including CISO briefings, architecture reviews, and security discussions.
• Conduct proactive security advisory sessions by aligning BeyondTrust capabilities with customer security frameworks such as NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, CMMC, and FedRAMP.
• Act as an escalation point for security-related customer concerns and coordinate solutions with internal Information Security, Engineering, and Legal teams.
• Partner with Sales and Customer Success teams to address security objections and accelerate customer opportunities.
• Represent BeyondTrust’s security posture through customer presentations, white papers, technical documentation, and security materials.
• Maintain and enhance centralized security knowledge resources to provide consistent responses across go-to-market teams.
• Monitor security regulations, industry trends, and emerging requirements while advising customers on compliance alignment.
• Support Trust & Assurance activities, including Product Health Reviews (PHRs), Cloud Governance communications, and Security Issues Management.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in cloud security, cybersecurity architecture, or a related technical discipline, preferably within a SaaS environment.
• Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM), identity security, Zero Trust architecture, and cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Experience in customer-facing, consulting, security advisory, or technical engagement roles.
• Ability to present complex security concepts to technical teams, executives, and CISO-level audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create clear security documentation.
• Experience interpreting technical information such as application logs, architecture diagrams, and security reports.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and Legal.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Security and compliance frameworks including SOC 2, ISO 27001/42001, NIST 800-53, FedRAMP, CMMC, HIPAA, and PCI-DSS.
• Cloud security, identity security, PAM solutions, and SaaS security architecture.
• Security risk assessment, customer security reviews, and technical documentation.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in IT, Cybersecurity, or Information Assurance.
• Experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or customer advisory roles within a cybersecurity organization.
• Experience supporting cloud platforms or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) applications.
• Experience working with government agencies or regulated industries such as financial services, healthcare, or public sector organizations.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or AWS/Azure Security certifications.
• Advanced knowledge of PAM and identity security product architectures.
• Familiarity with emerging technology frameworks, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) security and Post-Quantum Cryptography.
