This role involves assisting with customer account research, payment inquiries, and resolving unapplied funds due to overpayments, misapplied payments, or account reconciliation. You will also handle customer communications across various channels on behalf of multiple departments, requiring general accounting knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate within a team to research and resolve customer account issues
- Investigate and manage unapplied funds and cash application issues
- Respond professionally to customer inquiries, providing accurate information or solutions
- Handle customer correspondence related to billing, payments, or general account questions
- Support additional communications or projects for other departments as required
- Troubleshoot issues efficiently to ensure customer satisfaction
Qualifications:
- General accounting knowledge required
- 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills to professionally engage with internal and external customers
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail and organization
- Experience with Salesforce and/or PeopleSoft preferred
- Must be a US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, or authorized to work in the US
