The Customer Support Specialist is a key member of the team, acting as the first line of communication for customers. This role emphasizes delivering quick, precise, and friendly support while maintaining long-term trust with clients. The position allows for growth in product expertise, problem-solving, and customer communication skills. Preference is given to applicants in Pacific Time (excluding Washington) and Australia.
What You’ll Do:
- Respond to incoming chats in Intercom for Core clients
- Triage and resolve or escalate issues as needed
- Follow up on snoozed and pending conversations
- Identify patterns and report trends to Support Lead
- Validate support articles, macros, and bot responses
- Collaborate with L1 and L2 teammates
- Stay informed on product changes and releases
What You’ll Need:
- Experience with tools like Zoom, Slack, and Intercom, and ability to quickly learn new systems
- Strong problem-solving skills, with ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues and explain solutions clearly
- A proactive approach to learning and adapting to new concepts, tools, and customer support techniques
- High accountability, self-driven, and able to complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Comfortable providing support in one-on-one or small group settings
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Eager to continuously grow skills in both customer support and the fitness industry
