Description:
Close, a CRM platform designed to streamline sales for SMBs, is seeking a Customer Success Associate to join their fully remote U.S.-based team. This role focuses on helping new customers succeed with Close, increasing retention and driving adoption. Unlike traditional CSM roles, you won’t manage dedicated accounts; instead, you will work across a variety of startups and growing companies, connecting directly with founders, CEOs, and sales teams to ensure they get the most from the platform.

The role emphasizes proactive engagement, onboarding, and consulting, helping customers build effective sales processes while collaborating closely with the Customer Success and Sales teams. Ideal candidates are independent, highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, remote startup environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Virtually train and onboard new and existing customers
• Proactively reach out to high-potential new customers
• Identify at-risk and high-growth customers to maximize retention
• Communicate effectively via multiple platforms (email, Zoom, SMS, social) with founders, executives, and sales teams
• Work with Success and Sales teams to ensure smooth customer transitions
• Identify expansion opportunities and upsell customers
• Host group trainings, office hours, and interactive demos for multiple customers simultaneously
• Create customer content such as FAQs, white papers, and videos
• Engage with customers via the online Community and Helpdesk software

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience in B2B SaaS customer success, CRM, or sales enablement tools
• Frontline sales experience or familiarity with sales tools is preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport quickly with new customers
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism
• U.S. based and proficient in English (preference for ET, CT, MT, PT time zones)
