The Customer Service Rep I – Claims Alert plays a critical role in processing new insurance claims and responding to customer inquiries. This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle emergency or catastrophe-related claims effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Intake First Notice of Loss (FNOL) claims
- Conduct emergency adjuster call outs through three-way calls with clients
- Process emergency or catastrophe event FNOL
- Achieve and maintain proficiency with all client instructions
- Meet or exceed call center performance standards
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal teams and external clients
- Assist with special projects or perform other duties as requested
- Uphold the Crawford Code of Conduct
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- 1-2 years of face-to-face, telephony, or administrative customer service experience
- Ability to interact professionally and tactfully with clients over the phone
- Strong computer and keyboard skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective time management abilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good interpersonal skills and strong work ethic
