WE ARE HIRING – Customer Engineer

Reltio is seeking a skilled Customer Engineer to provide expert technical support for high-value customers, ensuring system health, resolving complex issues, and contributing to overall customer satisfaction and product improvement. This role involves collaboration with engineering and DevOps teams and requires hands-on experience in enterprise SaaS products and cloud data solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle complex technical challenges including configuration, workflow compilation, lambda code debugging, integration, and JSON knowledge
  • Resolve all categories of customer technical issues through research, reproduction, and troubleshooting
  • Provide high-quality solutions independently and exercise judgment to develop methods and evaluation criteria for prompt issue resolution
  • Act as a subject matter expert in multiple product features supporting enterprise-scale solutions
  • Attend client meetings to troubleshoot, analyze, and diagnose problems
  • Participate in rapid response teams and serve as the voice of the customer for feedback
  • Monitor tenant-level alerts and collaborate to prevent escalations
  • Submit enhancement requests to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to improve adoption and customer success
  • Operate with minimal guidance on daily tasks and high-level direction on new initiatives
  • Stay up-to-date on product functionality, dependencies, architecture, and operational impact
  • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations for critical issues and support weekend shifts as needed
  • Develop and share best practices, author technical documentation, and contribute to the knowledge base

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 3+ years supporting enterprise SaaS products in a customer-facing role
  • 3+ years with on-premise or cloud Data Unification solutions
  • 3+ years working with Public Clouds (AWS/GCP/Azure) and related services
  • 3+ years experience with REST APIs, integration tools, and enterprise applications
  • Hands-on experience in programming (Python, Java), object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and problem-solving
  • Experience with RESTful API development, Postman, and web UI development using JavaScript frameworks
  • Knowledge of scalable and distributed data systems, distributed file systems, Java, and cloud technologies
  • Experience in data management, master data management, analytics, and big data platforms

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB) and distributed indexes
