Customer Engineer – United States

Reltio® is seeking a highly skilled Customer Engineer to provide expert technical support to our high-value customers and partners. The role focuses on resolving complex technical issues, ensuring system health, and sharing knowledge to improve customer satisfaction and product performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot complex customer issues involving configuration, workflow compilation, lambda code, integration, and JSON knowledge
  • Resolve customer technical issues across various categories through detailed research and troubleshooting
  • Provide alternative solutions using independent judgment and technical expertise
  • Deliver high-quality customer engineering support to maintain excellent customer satisfaction
  • Act as a subject matter expert on multiple product features and assist in product enhancement
  • Attend client meetings to analyze, troubleshoot, and diagnose problems
  • Participate in rapid response teams, including Engineering and DevOps, representing the customer
  • Monitor tenant-level alerting tools and communicate proactively to prevent escalations
  • Provide feedback to Engineering, Product, Sales, and Marketing for product and service improvements
  • Operate independently on daily tasks and follow high-level guidance for new initiatives
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product functionality, dependencies, and operational impact
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation and provide after-hours support for critical issues
  • Author technical documentation and contribute to knowledge base development
  • Support weekend shifts on a rotational or as-needed basis
  • Lead support initiatives to enhance organizational and team performance

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years supporting enterprise SaaS products in a customer-facing role
  • 3+ years with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure) and their services
  • 3+ years experience with REST APIs and integration tools
  • Previous experience as a software engineer, support engineer, or solution engineer
  • Hands-on experience in programming (Python, Java) and object-oriented design
  • Knowledge of data management, master data management, analytics, and big data technologies
  • Web UI development experience with JavaScript frameworks
  • Understanding of scalable, distributed data systems using cloud technology

Preferred Skills:

  • MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (Cassandra, Elasticsearch, DynamoDB) and distributed indexes

Compensation:
Reltio determines compensation based on market data, role, skills, experience, and location, with a range of $77,000—$142,000 USD.
