Hungryroot, a leading AI-powered food and wellness platform, is seeking a dedicated Customer Care Specialist to join our distributed team. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with a passion for healthy living and delighting customers. You will support our community and customers across social media, email, phone, SMS, live chat, and other channels, ensuring a seamless experience throughout the customer lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries across multiple channels while meeting daily resolution targets, First Response Time goals, and SLA commitments
  • Moderate Facebook Groups and other brand communities, ensuring posts align with community guidelines, and removing off-topic or harmful content
  • Produce weekly social community roundups highlighting feedback on products, groceries, and customer service
  • Enhance brand reputation on platforms like Reddit and Trustpilot through proactive engagement and thoughtful responses
  • Identify emerging trends on social channels and communicate actionable insights to Operations, Marketing, and Product teams
  • Ensure consistent brand voice and tone across all interactions while achieving Customer Satisfaction (CSAT) goals
  • Assist with lifecycle messaging through Braze during high-impact moments, including issue and shipping communications
  • Maintain and update Zendesk macros, Help Center FAQs, and AI-Agent templates to provide accurate and timely information to customers

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer-facing support or communications roles
  • Experience managing social channels or online communities (Facebook Group preferred)
  • 1+ years using CRM platforms such as Zendesk, Kustomer, or Gorgias
  • Familiarity with Braze is a plus
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills
  • Willingness to travel for team-building events
  • Emotionally intelligent, organized, proactive, and detail-oriented
  • Positive attitude with the ability to handle multiple tools and tasks efficiently
