Description:
Autolink Contracting is currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Cost Controller – Civil to join its construction team in the UAE. This role is focused on managing, monitoring, and controlling project costs for large-scale high-rise building projects, ensuring financial efficiency and successful project delivery.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with main contracting companies and a strong background in cost management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis within complex construction environments.
This position plays a key role in supporting project execution by ensuring that all financial aspects are properly tracked, analyzed, and aligned with approved budgets and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage project budgets for high-rise civil construction projects.
• Monitor project costs and ensure alignment with approved financial plans.
• Prepare cost forecasts and regularly update financial projections.
• Track and analyze project expenditures to identify cost variances.
• Prepare detailed cost control reports for management review.
• Coordinate with project, commercial, and finance teams to ensure cost efficiency.
• Support decision-making by providing accurate financial and cost analysis data.
• Monitor supplier, subcontractor, and material-related costs.
• Ensure compliance with project budgets and contractual financial terms.
• Assist in financial reporting and cost auditing processes.
• Implement cost-saving strategies while maintaining project quality and timelines.
• Maintain accurate cost records using ERP systems and MS Excel tools.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Cost Controller in high-rise building projects.
• Prior experience with main contracting companies is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of construction budgeting, cost forecasting, and financial control.
• Experience in monitoring expenditures and preparing cost variance analysis reports.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, and cost management software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict project deadlines.
