Deep End Talent Strategies is seeking a highly skilled Contract Bookkeeper to support a fast-growing SaaS company. This part-time contract role offers flexible hours, up to 16 hours per week, and requires working within U.S. time zones. The ideal candidate thrives in dynamic environments, understands SaaS revenue models, and is passionate about creating organized, accurate financial systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including month-end close and account reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
- Track subscription and SaaS revenue accurately
- Prepare financial reports and cash flow summaries
- Maintain precise and organized documentation across accounts
- Collaborate with internal teams and external accountants as needed
- Suggest and implement workflow improvements, systems, and automation
Requirements:
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience in the SaaS industry
- Strong knowledge of SaaS financial models and terminology
- Expertise in QuickBooks (required)
- Experience with Ramp or similar bill pay platforms (preferred)
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate proactively and independently in a remote environment
- Capacity to meet deadlines while maintaining confidentiality
Compensation & Structure:
- Hourly rate: $75–$90/hour, based on experience
