Commitbiz is looking for a Compliance Officer to join its team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who is interested in building expertise in compliance, AML/KYC, and risk management within a dynamic business environment.
The selected candidate will assist in maintaining regulatory compliance by supporting customer due diligence, sanctions screening, risk assessments, and AML/CFT processes. The role is ideal for someone with strong analytical abilities, attention to detail, and a willingness to grow in the compliance field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in conducting AML, KYC, and customer due diligence (CDD) procedures.
• Perform PEP, sanctions, adverse media, and UBO verification checks.
• Support enhanced due diligence (EDD) and compliance monitoring activities.
• Review compliance alerts and assist in identifying potential risks.
• Maintain accurate compliance records and regulatory documentation.
• Ensure adherence to UAE AML/CFT regulations and internal compliance policies.
Requirements:
• 0–1 year of experience in AML, KYC, or Compliance.
• Knowledge of UAE AML/CFT regulations, KYC, CDD, EDD, and UBO verification.
• Experience with PEP and sanctions screening, adverse media checks, and alert reviews.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• UAE CSP/DNFBP experience is preferred.
• goAML, ICA, CAMS, or ACAMS certification is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of:
• UAE AML/CFT regulations.
• KYC, CDD, EDD, and UBO verification.
• PEP screening, sanctions screening, and compliance monitoring.
