Ellsworth Adhesives – Compensation Manager (Remote or Hybrid)

Ellsworth Adhesives, a global leader in specialty chemicals, equipment, and adhesives distribution, is seeking a skilled Compensation Manager to join our team. This position reports to our Corporate Headquarters in Germantown, WI, and offers flexibility to work remotely or in a hybrid setting.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for building compensation programs and philosophies across a global organization. This role involves managing both strategic and tactical aspects of compensation, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, market competitiveness, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, maintain, and administer global compensation structures, policies, incentive plans, and sales commission plans to support organizational objectives.
  • Oversee the job evaluation process, ensuring accurate role classification and alignment across the organization.
  • Provide expert consultation to HR Business Partners, leaders, and managers on compensation matters; leverage analytics to identify trends, pay equity gaps, and workforce risks, and develop actionable recommendations.
  • Lead compensation projects and processes including annual merit cycles, incentive plan reviews, sales commission plans, and compliance audits.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, international labor laws, local compensation regulations, and internal governance standards; monitor emerging legislation for organizational readiness.
  • Collaborate with HRIS and Finance teams to maintain data integrity and optimize systems, tools, and reporting capabilities.
  • Perform other related duties as required.

Qualifications:
✔ 5+ years of experience in global compensation program design, analysis, and administration, with sales compensation experience.
✔ Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline; Master’s or Certified Compensation Professional preferred.
✔ Advanced proficiency in Excel and compensation/HRIS systems (Workday Advanced Compensation preferred).
✔ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills.
✔ Ability to work independently on complex compensation projects with minimal supervision.
✔ Capable of managing multiple priorities, meeting deadlines, and adapting to evolving business needs.
