Description:
Wellstar Health System is seeking a Compensation Analyst to join their team in a fully remote role based in Georgia. This position plays a crucial role in supporting the organization’s compensation processes by performing high-volume, confidential data entry, document review, and analysis. The Compensation Analyst will research market salary trends, conduct internal equity analysis, manage bonus programs, and support HR and leadership with salary recommendations and project initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct research on external market trends and recommend updates to Wellstar’s compensation structure.
• Prepare reports, evaluations, and documentation related to compliance and salary surveys.
• Review job descriptions to ensure accuracy and alignment with market data; analyze positions for FLSA classification.
• Perform comprehensive equity analysis and summarize findings to support compensation policies.
• Administer data consolidation, analysis, and interpretation for leadership.
• Provide compensation consulting and guidance to HR partners, clients, and leaders.
• Manage bonus programs and maintain tracking and audit tools for payment processing.
• Support project management for compensation requests and annual incentive programs.
• Audit job leveling requirements based on Wellstar policies and procedures.
• Perform data analytics, reporting, and auditing of job content.
• Process invoices and ensure timely purchase order payments.
• Maintain compliance with all Wellstar policies, standards, and code of conduct.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information responsibly.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables) and strong analytical skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Word, PowerPoint).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong collaboration, teamwork, and ability to work independently.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
• Experience with HRIS systems (preferably Workday).
• Familiarity with job evaluation tools (Payscale, MarketPay) is preferred.
• Background in healthcare is a plus.

• Minimum 3 years of related experience in compensation, HR, analytics, or finance.
