We are currently seeking a skilled Commissioning Engineer – Fire & Life Safety (FLS) to join our team in Dubai. This role is ideal for a professional who is passionate about safety, technical precision, and delivering high-performing Fire & Life Safety systems across major regional projects.
In this position, you will take the lead in commissioning and validating Fire & Life Safety systems, including Fire Alarm, Voice Evacuation, Emergency Lighting, and other essential components. You’ll handle tasks such as system integration, performance testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring every part of the system operates at top efficiency.
Your role will involve close coordination with project teams, consultants, contractors, and UAE Civil Defense authorities to ensure that all systems adhere to local regulations and international standards. Preparing detailed documentation, reports, and commissioning records will be a key responsibility, along with assisting clients during handover and offering necessary operational training.
What You’ll Do:
- Lead commissioning activities for Fire & Life Safety systems
- Manage system integrations, testing procedures, and troubleshooting
- Coordinate with teams and authorities for compliance with UAE Civil Defense standards
- Prepare comprehensive commissioning reports and technical documentation
- Support final handover processes and provide client training sessions
What We’re Looking For:
- 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in FLS commissioning
- Strong understanding of NFPA, UAE Fire Code, and related standards
- Familiarity with major brands such as Honeywell, Siemens, Notifier, and others
- Excellent communication, reporting, and coordination skills
- Must be based in Dubai or ready to relocate
