Description

QLABS Clinical Laboratory is seeking a motivated and experienced Clinical Pathologist to join its newly acquired clinical laboratory facility in Dubai. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a quality-driven professional who is passionate about laboratory excellence, clinical leadership, and continuous quality improvement within a growing diagnostic organization.

The selected candidate will oversee clinical laboratory operations, provide medical and technical guidance, support accreditation initiatives, and ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical and technical leadership for laboratory operations.

• Supervise daily laboratory activities to ensure efficient workflow.

• Ensure accurate, timely, and reliable reporting of laboratory results.

• Support accreditation preparation and quality management initiatives.

• Maintain compliance with regulatory and laboratory quality standards.

• Lead internal audits and continuous quality improvement programs.

• Guide and mentor laboratory staff to achieve operational excellence.

• Monitor laboratory performance and implement best practices.

• Act as the primary medical and quality resource for the laboratory.

• Collaborate with management to achieve organizational objectives.

Requirements

• DHA Eligibility is mandatory.

• UAE clinical laboratory experience is preferred.

• Strong background in clinical pathology and laboratory medicine.

• Excellent leadership and team management skills.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.

• Commitment to quality assurance and patient safety.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced diagnostic environment.

• Strong knowledge of:

    • Clinical pathology and laboratory workflows

    • ISO 15189, CAP, EIAC, and DHA compliance requirements

    • Laboratory accreditation, audits, and quality management systems
