Description:

Brown & Brown is seeking a Claims Specialist to join the One80 Intermediaries team. This remote position is ideal for customer-focused professionals who can provide excellent service, manage claim processes, and communicate effectively with customers, retailers, technicians, and partners.

The successful candidate will handle customer inquiries, review claim documentation, monitor claim progress, and support service solutions while maintaining accuracy and professionalism. This role requires strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and the ability to adapt to changing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily inbound and outbound communication support through phone and email.

• Manage customer and retailer inquiries related to the complete claims process.

• Review claim details, determine coverage, and process required documentation.

• Send inspection packets, authorize technicians, order parts, recommend exchanges, and administer settlements.

• Monitor open claims and follow up proactively to ensure timely claim closure.

• Respond promptly to communications from customers, retailers, and manufacturers.

• Review inspection documents and determine warranty replacements or claim denials.

• Provide service solutions for customers with out-of-warranty or non-covered claims.

• Guide users through the retailer portal and provide claim-related support.

• Process technician calls, document updates, and complete required follow-up actions.

• Support Intake Specialist responsibilities when required.

Requirements:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the Intake process for a minimum of 6 months.

• Successful completion of required training programs.

• Ability to process and manage existing claims efficiently.

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Strong computer and keyboard skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

• Basic mathematical skills.

• Ability to handle calls professionally using strong customer service techniques.

• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

Strong knowledge of:

    • Claims processing and customer service procedures.
