About the Role:
Diversified Systems (DSI) is looking for a detail-oriented Claims Analyst to join our remote team supporting outsourced services. In this role you’ll process claims, perform quality checks, and support continual improvements to procedures and workflows within a defined industry and functional area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process claims and related transactions, handling standard to moderately complex cases with accuracy and consistency.
- Perform quality checks and reconciliations, auditing reports for completeness and correctness.
- Analyze data and prepare standard reports for management and clients; log pertinent transaction details and provide periodic status updates.
- Recommend and implement procedural changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of claim processing.
- Research and resolve exceptions, following up with clients and interfacing with management or client contacts as needed.
- Serve as an informal resource for less experienced team members and help maintain best-practice procedures.
Requirements:
- Familiarity with medical and/or insurance concepts and the ability to apply basic adjudication logic.
- Strong reading and analytical skills to evaluate claims and make informed decisions.
- Comfortable using computers and standard office tools; ability to work with multiple claims simultaneously.
- Self-starter who can work independently to meet individual production targets while contributing to team goals.
- Basic multitasking and problem-solving ability to research issues and follow through on resolutions.
