About the Role:
We are looking for a detail-focused Claims Analyst II to review, evaluate and process mitigation-related insurance claims. You will assess documentation, determine appropriate payment or further investigation, and communicate with insurers, franchise partners and customers to move claims through to resolution.

Job Responsibilities:
▪ Inspect and validate mitigation claim submissions — confirm correct invoicing of line items, verify the Record of Drying conditions, check labor efficiency, assess price-list variations, and evaluate equipment sizing and utilization.
▪ Prepare and submit claims for commercial and personal lines within company guidelines and actively follow up to collect monies owed.
▪ Communicate expected file quality to franchisees, ensuring records meet S-500 drying standards and that documentation is complete and accurate.
▪ Correspond with franchisees, end users, agents, policyholders and insurance carriers regarding claim progress and payment status.
▪ Enter billed items into the claims system, monitor aging, and verify billing accuracy.
▪ Support process improvement initiatives and help create or refine standard operating procedures to meet client and insurer requirements.
▪ Generate and distribute weekly and monthly performance and claims reports.

Job Requirements:
▪ Bachelor’s degree and/or a minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience handling claims or related insurance/restoration documentation.
▪ Excellent time-management skills and proven ability to manage workflow efficiently.
▪ Strong attention to detail in claim analysis and documentation review.
▪ Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously and follow defined processes with strong follow-through.
▪ Effective written and verbal communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
▪ Comfortable working independently and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Physical Demands & Working Conditions:
▪ Occasional lifting or moving of items up to 10 pounds.
▪ Prolonged periods of sitting while using computers, phones, and other office equipment.
▪ Frequent fine motor tasks — typing and repetitive hand/wrist motions.
▪ Must be able to communicate clearly and receive detailed information through normal conversational levels.
▪ Requires close visual acuity for detail-oriented work (reading screens and documents within arm’s reach).
▪ Work performed primarily indoors; subject to normal variations in indoor climate (air conditioning/heating).

Incumbent Must Be Prepared To:
▪ Lift or reposition light objects (up to 10 pounds) occasionally.
▪ Sit for extended periods while performing computer-based tasks.
▪ Perform repetitive finger/hand motions when entering or reviewing data.
▪ Engage in clear verbal exchanges and comprehend detailed oral instructions.
▪ Maintain the visual focus necessary for data analysis and detailed reading.
