Frontdoor, Inc., a leader in the home services and warranty industry, is currently hiring a Claims Adjuster II for a fully remote position anywhere within the United States. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of warranty claims, including workmanship, systems, and structural defect cases. You’ll communicate regularly with homeowners, builders, vendors, engineers, and internal teams to evaluate claims, process inspections, manage repairs, and bring cases to resolution. Your daily tasks will include thorough investigations, interpretation of warranty coverage, and effective negotiations, all while adhering to regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth investigations into new home warranty claims related to workmanship, systems, and structure
• Communicate promptly and professionally with builders, homeowners, contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders
• Interpret technical warranty terms and apply them to determine coverage
• Order and review inspections, expert reports, and repair estimates
• Manage files by establishing and updating loss and expense reserves
• Coordinate repairs or negotiate settlements for resolution
• Maintain detailed and professional documentation for all claim files
• Manage arbitration, litigation, and recovery processes as needed
• Adhere to internal claim handling procedures, timelines, and reporting standards
• Handle assigned builder accounts with close coordination
• Work independently while collaborating effectively within a remote team

Required Skills:
• Strong communication, listening, and customer service skills
• Effective analytical and decision-making abilities
• Ability to interpret warranty policies accurately
• Experience handling high volumes of claims in a remote work environment
• Must be organized and able to meet productivity standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to maintain any required licensing and continuing education

Preferred Skills:
• Experience in home warranty, general liability, or property insurance
• Familiarity with property estimate evaluations
• Ability to draft accurate coverage letters

Physical Role Requirements:
• Prolonged sitting while working at a computer
• Ability to occasionally lift and move up to 10 pounds
• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing and computer work

Minimum Education & Licensure:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Property and Casualty License preferred

Compensation & Benefits:
