We’re looking for a qualified Civil Technical Engineer to join our growing team immediately or within a short notice.

Position: Civil Technical Engineer

Experience: 4–6 years (UAE-based)

Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

Key Responsibilities:

• Review IFC drawings and project specifications to develop detailed technical documentation
• Prepare shop drawings for civil works, including blockwork, finishes, and architectural details
• Coordinate with structural and architectural teams for design validation and resolving conflicts
• Review and prepare PQDs, material submittals, and method statements
• Provide technical support to site teams, ensuring adherence to design intent and regulations
• Liaise with consultants, clients, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues
• Conduct site inspections and assist in QA/QC processes
• Support value engineering proposals and identify cost-effective construction solutions
• Ensure compliance with relevant authority guidelines (Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DMCC, etc.)

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in the UAE construction industry
• Proficient in UAE building codes, standards, and authority approval processes
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools
• Experience in steel structures and finishing works
• Excellent at preparing shop drawings, submittals, and coordinating construction workflows
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Available to join immediately or on short notice
• Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory):
• Knowledge of structural design principles
• Familiarity with engineering software such as ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, STAAD Pro, or equivalent
