Description:
DATUM GENERAL CONTRACTING is looking for an experienced Civil Draftsman to join its project team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of civil and structural drawings, AutoCAD, and Dubai construction documentation requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing shop drawings, as-built drawings, and handling Dubai Municipality submissions while coordinating with engineers, consultants, and technical teams. Candidates with immediate availability and Dubai project experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare civil, structural shop drawings, site drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Develop accurate drawings using AutoCAD according to project requirements.
• Prepare and upload required documents for Dubai Municipality submissions.
• Manage Dubai Municipality and Dubai BPS online submissions and follow up on comments.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and technical teams.
• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and authority requirements.
• Maintain proper documentation throughout project execution.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3–5 years of UAE experience as a Civil Draftsman.
• Strong experience in AutoCAD.
• Experience preparing structural and civil shop drawings.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements and procedures.
• Hands-on experience with Dubai Municipality / Dubai BPS online submissions is mandatory.
• Ability to prepare, upload, and follow up on drawings and technical documents.
• Good coordination skills with project teams and consultants.
• Experience with Dubai building projects is highly preferred.
• Available to work full-time on-site in Dubai.
• Immediate availability will be an advantage.
