Disty is an innovative Riyadh-based online marketplace that uses AI and predictive analytics to streamline B2B supply chain operations, connecting suppliers and retailers across Saudi Arabia while strengthening financial capabilities. We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Accounting Officer to lead our accounting function and drive financial discipline as we scale.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all accounting operations and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
- Maintain compliance with Saudi regulations and IFRS accounting standards.
- Lead audits, taxation processes, budgeting cycles, and financial planning activities.
- Provide senior leadership with clear, actionable financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage, mentor, and grow the accounting team to achieve high performance.
- Implement, configure, and optimize ERP systems and accounting workflows.
- Ensure on-time preparation of financial statements, regulatory filings, and management reports.
- Strengthen internal controls, identify financial risks, and implement mitigation measures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA/CMA is an advantage.
- Proven experience in distribution, wholesale, or related sectors.
- Minimum 8 years’ progressive accounting experience with prior leadership responsibilities.
- Deep knowledge of IFRS and Saudi tax legislation.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems and advanced MS Excel proficiency.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is mandatory.
- Strong analytical, communication, and team leadership skills.
What You’ll Do:
Lead Disty’s financial reporting and compliance efforts, strengthen accounting processes, and partner with the executive team to support strategic growth of our AI-driven B2B marketplace.
