Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced Chief Accountant to lead and manage the organization’s financial operations, with a strong focus on banking relationships and corporate financial strategy. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in handling complex banking arrangements, credit facilities, and financial risk management.

This role requires a strategic finance professional capable of ensuring strong liquidity management, accurate financial reporting, and full compliance with regulatory standards. You will also play a key role in optimizing cash flow and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily accounting operations, general ledger management, and financial reporting

• Manage banking relationships and negotiate credit facilities and corporate loan structures

• Handle treasury functions including cash flow monitoring and working capital optimization

• Monitor collateral exposure and ensure proper execution of collateral releases

• Manage trade finance instruments including Letters of Credit (LCs) and Letters of Guarantee (LGs)

• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and coordinate external audits

• Prepare accurate financial statements and support month-end and year-end closing processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience working directly with banks on corporate financial matters

• Strong understanding of collateral management, valuation, and monitoring

• Hands-on experience with trade finance instruments such as LCs and LGs

• Strong background in financial reconciliations and reporting processes

• Experience in treasury operations, cash management, and liquidity planning is preferred

• Familiarity with ERP systems is an advantage

• Ability to build and analyze financial models for debt and balance sheet impact evaluation
