Description:
AX Capital is looking for an experienced Chief Accountant to join its team in Dubai. This position is suited for a finance professional with extensive accounting expertise, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to independently manage the company’s accounting operations.
The successful candidate will oversee daily accounting activities, prepare financial reports, supervise month-end and year-end closing, and ensure compliance with UAE accounting regulations. Fluency in both Arabic and English is essential, with Arabic speaking, writing, and reading being a mandatory requirement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations.
• Prepare, review, and present financial statements and management reports.
• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and account reconciliations.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and internal departments.
• Maintain accurate financial records and provide financial analysis to support management decisions.
Requirements:
• Minimum 7 years of relevant accounting experience.
• UAE accounting experience is preferred.
• Excellent command of Arabic and English.
• Fluent in Arabic speaking, writing, and reading (Mandatory).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently manage accounting operations.
