Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Chemist to join our Quality and R&D Department. The ideal candidate will conduct routine and specialized chemical analyses, support formulation development, and ensure that all materials and finished products comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform chemical and physical testing on raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods
- Support the R&D team in developing and optimizing formulations for food ingredients, additives, or cosmetic blends
- Prepare standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain lab documentation
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, ESMA, and GSO regulations
- Monitor and calibrate lab equipment, maintain cleanliness and safety protocols
- Conduct shelf-life, pH, stability, and compatibility testing for various product categories
- Assist in regulatory documentation and product registration
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Industrial Chemistry, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in food, cosmetics, or chemical manufacturing (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
- Familiarity with laboratory instruments (e.g., pH meter, viscometer, spectrophotometer, etc.)
- Knowledge of ISO 17025, GMP, or HACCP principles is an advantage
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
