Description:

Alignerr is seeking detail-focused and analytical professionals to join as Chatbot Quality Analysts, contributing to the evaluation and improvement of next-generation conversational AI systems. This role plays a key part in enhancing how AI chatbots understand context, maintain coherence, and deliver natural, helpful responses across multi-turn conversations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate AI chatbot conversations across diverse topics and real-world use cases

• Assess dialogue quality including context retention, coherence, tone, and conversational flow

• Identify breakdowns in multi-turn interactions and analyze where conversations lose quality

• Design and execute test scenarios to stress-test conversational AI performance

• Document failure patterns, edge cases, and system limitations using structured feedback

• Rate chatbot responses based on accuracy, safety, helpfulness, and tone consistency

• Provide clear, actionable recommendations to improve AI dialogue systems

• Collaborate asynchronously with research and product teams to refine evaluation standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in chatbot QA, conversational AI evaluation, UX research, or dialogue system testing

• Strong understanding of conversational flow, context handling, and AI response behavior

• Excellent analytical skills with attention to subtle language and interaction issues

• Strong written communication skills in English with the ability to clearly explain evaluation findings

• Ability to work independently and maintain structured, consistent evaluation practices

• Familiarity with conversation design principles and common chatbot failure patterns

Nice to Have:

• Experience with NLP, LLMs, or machine learning concepts

• Background in linguistics, cognitive science, or human-computer interaction

• Experience with evaluation frameworks such as human preference ratings or QA rubrics

• Exposure to prompt engineering or AI red-teaming

• Experience creating QA documentation or test plans

• Proficiency in Portuguese is an advantage
