Description:
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Chartered Accountant to join a trading company based in JLT, Dubai. This role is ideal for a fresh CA or a professional with up to 3 years of experience who is eager to build a strong foundation in core accounting, taxation, and financial reporting within a dynamic business environment.
The selected candidate will play a key role in managing daily financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, and supporting compliance activities including VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. You will also work closely with auditors and external consultants to maintain smooth financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage day-to-day accounting & bookkeeping activities
• Maintain books of accounts using Zoho Books
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management accounts
• Assist with VAT compliance, filings, and reconciliations
• Support Corporate Tax compliance and documentation
• Coordinate with auditors and external consultants
• Maintain proper accounting records and internal controls
Requirements:
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (Fresh CA or up to 3 years experience)
• Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Basic knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax regulations
• Experience with Zoho Books preferred
• Knowledge of Tally is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of finance function
Strong knowledge of:
• Accounting principles & financial reporting
• VAT & Corporate Tax basics (UAE)
• Accounting software (Zoho Books / Tally)
