Description:
A company based in Business Bay, Dubai is seeking a qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant to join its finance team. This role is ideal for professionals with strong expertise in UAE taxation, financial reporting, and accounting operations. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and submit VAT and Corporate Tax returns in compliance with UAE Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations.
• Stay updated with the latest UAE tax laws and ensure timely compliance with all statutory requirements.
• Manage financial records including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure accurate recording and proper documentation of all financial transactions.
• Prepare periodic financial reports including monthly, quarterly, and annual statements.
• Assist in budgeting activities and perform variance analysis to support decision-making.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing required documentation and financial data.
• Coordinate with auditors and respond to audit-related queries efficiently.
• Conduct regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience within the UAE.
• Professional-level proficiency in Zoho accounting software is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax regulations and VAT compliance.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
