The organization is currently hiring a Certified Public Accountant / Accounting Expert on a part-time contract basis to support AI model evaluation tasks related to accounting and financial analysis. This role is fully remote and offers flexible working hours.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create, review, and annotate structured accounting tasks to evaluate AI model performance
• Develop original problem sets based on financial statements, reconciliation reports, and ledger entries
• Write detailed reference solutions and apply systematic quality checks for accuracy
• Provide clear, step-by-step technical explanations of accounting reasoning
• Work independently in an asynchronous environment with flexible scheduling
• Contribute to improving AI understanding of accounting concepts and real-world financial scenarios
Qualifications:
Must-Have Requirements:
• PhD in Accounting OR CPA with 3+ years of experience in audit, tax, or advisory roles OR Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5+ years of relevant experience in accounting, audit, or controllership
• Strong knowledge across at least two areas: financial accounting, managerial accounting, audit, tax, or assurance
• Ability to read and interpret financial statements, reconciliation schedules, and general ledger entries
• Strong technical writing and documentation skills
Compensation & Work Structure:
• Hourly contract role
• $75 – $83 per hour
• Paid on a weekly basis
• Approximately 20 hours per week commitment
