HealthMark Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Certification Specialist to join its remote team. The company provides healthcare technology solutions that help healthcare providers manage patient information through secure and efficient digital platforms.

The selected candidate will support certification processes, handle confidential medical records, and ensure compliance with HIPAA and privacy standards. This role is ideal for individuals who have strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize the MedRelease platform to assist with certification processes related to medical records.

• Review and process documentation while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

• Follow HIPAA and Protected Health Information (PHI) handling procedures to protect patient data.

• Use mathematical skills to analyze and understand medical billing records.

• Provide accurate information and support for record-related requests.

• Maintain productivity goals while working independently with minimal supervision.

• Complete required company training and comply with organizational policies.

• Work additional hours when required based on business needs.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work remotely Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

• Comfortable working extensively on a computer and managing multiple daily tasks.

• Ability to work independently after completing training.

• Must be eligible to become a Notary Public in Texas within the required timeframe after employment.

• Intermediate to advanced mathematical skills for reviewing medical billing records.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is preferred.

• Previous experience in hospital or medical billing is an advantage but not required.

• Microsoft Office, Data Accuracy, and Certification Processes
