Description:
Aegon is seeking a detail-oriented Cashiering Specialist to join their finance team in Cedar Rapids, IA. This role involves reviewing daily incoming wires, automated clearing house (ACH) transactions, and bank reports, applying funds accurately, and handling outgoing checks, wires, and electronic funds transfers (EFT).
Key Responsibilities:
- Reconcile payments to internal systems, banks, and Accounting records
- Assist in resolving returned or unmatched items
- Process cash functions and monitor incoming wires
- Maintain and prepare reports for audit purposes
Qualifications & Skills:
- Associate’s degree in Accounting or equivalent experience
- Experience in business operations or related field
- Strong math, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and strong PC skills
- Exceptional attention to detail

- Hybrid work schedule (Tuesday – Thursday in-office)
