We Are Hiring – Cashier Accountant
Role Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-focused Cashier cum Accountant to join the team at Happiness Lounge for Government Services. This position blends front-line cash handling with basic accounting responsibilities, ideal for someone who is accurate, organised and comfortable working in a busy service environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle cash transactions and operate POS systems with accuracy and integrity.
- Maintain financial records including daily cash reconciliations and basic bookkeeping entries.
- Prepare simple financial reports and assist with month-end tasks as required.
- Manage receipts, invoices and petty cash while ensuring proper documentation and audit readiness.
- Support administrative tasks related to accounting and customer service when needed.
- Work efficiently under pressure to serve customers and keep financial processes up-to-date.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working as a Cashier cum Accountant or in a similar finance role.
- Strong knowledge of cash handling procedures, basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills and numerical accuracy.
