Description:
Yas Clinic in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi, is seeking an experienced Case Manager to join its healthcare team. This role is ideal for professionals with UAE healthcare experience who can effectively coordinate patient care, manage insurance approvals, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and insurance regulations.
The successful candidate will oversee both inpatient and outpatient cases, support efficient utilization of healthcare resources, facilitate discharge planning, and contribute to the hospital’s revenue cycle by maintaining accurate clinical documentation and meeting payer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate patient care with physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals.
• Obtain pre-authorizations, concurrent approvals, and extension approvals from insurance companies and TPAs.
• Review medical necessity and ensure compliance with payer guidelines.
• Monitor patient length of stay (LOS) and resource utilization.
• Ensure complete and accurate clinical documentation to minimize claim denials.
• Collaborate with coding, billing, and finance teams to support timely claim submissions.
• Track pending insurance approvals and escalate delayed cases when necessary.
• Coordinate discharge planning and ensure continuity of patient care.
• Participate in utilization reviews, clinical audits, and prepare case management reports.
• Ensure compliance with DHA, DOH, MOHAP, and insurance regulations.
Requirements:
• UAE experience as a Case Manager is required.
• Strong coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient case workflows.
• Experience working with insurance companies and third-party administrators (TPAs).
• Strong knowledge of:
• Insurance approvals and utilization management.
• Clinical documentation and revenue cycle processes.
• DHA, DOH, MOHAP, and UAE insurance regulations.
