The Accounts Receivable (AR) Representative serves as a critical link between Lithia Motors, Inc. and its customers. This role involves providing exceptional customer service while ensuring timely collection of service and parts receivables. You will professionally address inquiries related to receivables and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor customer accounts daily to identify aged receivables and contact customers for payment.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports on collection activities, updating systems and trackers regularly.
  • Handle inbound AR-related calls efficiently.
  • Resolve billing issues and answer customer inquiries promptly.
  • Conduct research and respond to inquiries from service and parts customers, internal departments, and Lithia stores within established service level agreements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong attention to detail and urgency in completing tasks.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Active listening to fully understand customer concerns and ask relevant questions.
  • Critical thinking to evaluate alternative solutions and approaches effectively.
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize workloads independently.
  • Previous customer service experience is preferred.
  • Experience with outbound calls or collections is an advantage.
  • Tech-savvy and able to navigate multiple systems.
